We offer top-quality recording instruction taught by experienced engineer & musician with 24 years teaching experience!

Affordable group and private (one-on-one) lessons in multi-track recording engineering and MIDI Production.  As a student, you will gain knowledge and hands-on experience in studio and control-room operations and explore topics ranging from pre-production planning to the latest digital hard disk recording & sequencing techniques. Students will observe and assist with "actual" recording sessions.

Our courses are offered in two choices:  The Full Course and the 8-week courses.

  • The Full Course is a six-month curriculum where the student will learn the full range of recording engineering from multi-track and hard disk recording to MIDI sequencing.  The goal of this course is to prepare students for career opportunities.  Upon successful completion, the student will receive a certificate and be ready to begin an entry-level position as an engineer.
  • The 8-week courses are designed for the aspiring engineers wanting further training in specific areas.  Designed with todays busy lifestyles in mind, these classes are perfect for students with less spare time and not able to commit to the Full Course requirements.  The 8-week classes may be repeated multiple times at students request.  They are offered as follows:
    1. Muti-Track Recording (Part 1 & 2)
    2. Hard Disk Editing & Recording (Part 1 & 2)
    3. MIDI Production (Part 1 & 2)

    Multi-track Recording

This comprehensive course allows you to understand all aspects of the recording process. Topics include:

          • CD buring

     MIDI Production

Covers the technical side and the creative side of MIDI. The student will learn to create instrumental tracks (drums, bass, guitar, piano, strings, etc.,) using MIDI equipment. Topics include:

  • Demystifying MIDI
  • Synthesizers & Samplers
  • Integrating sound modules
  • Computer-based sequencers
